Walking and Sightseeing in Normandy

A recent walking and sightseeing holiday, based in Avignon, has given me a taste of walking in France and I would like to do a lot more of it. Previously, I've walked many miles in Paris, and have done some walking in Normandy and Brittany on family holidays many years ago, but that was long before the walking bug has really bitten. France is a vast country with lovely and varied countryside and the ease of getting there, thanks to Eurostar and the excellent French train network, tells me that travelling there and exploring on foot is something I should do more often!

Came across this website, which contains a huge number of wonderful photos of places in France. The site (www.mesvoyagesenfrance.com/index.html) was created (and continues to be added to) by a Frenchman who, by all accounts, loves his country, his photography, and maintaining his website. I loved browsing through this site and feel inspired to visit many more towns and villages in France.
